The CIT faculty has discussed the need for students in VT courses to meet with Shari Gowers in a short advising session. You will need to schedule a time to meet with her during the week of February 19, 2007.

Shari will go through a brief CIT advisement with each student including issues such as schedule, options, prerequisites, semesters courses offered, requirements, etc.

Shari has blocked off her schedule for VT 1300 WALK-INS:
Tuesday, Feb 20
10:00 - 1:00

Wednesday, Feb 21
4:00 - 5:00

Thursday, Feb 22
10:00 - 1:00

If students are not able to get in during the scheduled times above, they can schedule appointments via the online calendar (http://cactus.dixie.edu/gowers/viewweek.asp). This is NOT the preferred method since the schedule is usually quite booked and they may not get an appointment to complete this assignment. Scheduled appointments are only for those students that are unable to attend one of the times above because of work or class schedules. Students should be strongly encouraged to visit during the walk-in hours above.

Students are encouraged to visit in pairs or groups up to four -especially if they have similar degree plans.
